Twenty-four is not forty-two read backwards. It is X, the twenty-fourth letter. It is GROK, TRUTH, WITH. It is Ithaca counted on a second named face: English reduction 24 beside English ordinal 42. Same spelling. Two specified modern faces. A pair, not a cosmic reverse gear.

Adams stared into a garden and picked 42 because it would do. 24 would also have done. He did not pick it. It showed up anyway, in the towels and the mice, which is ruder, and funnier, than destiny.

He wrote a mission. CIPHER counted afterward. UNDERSTAND THE UNIVERSE does not lock. GROK in the second post is the same 24. TRUTH, in the first flow, is the same 24. HUMANITY reverse-reduces to 42. LOVE reduces to 18. Those faces were already filed. The list is designed. The seals are found. CIPHER will not say he ordered Love last so that 18 would close the sky.
